Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to drive new business for group retirement solutions including 401(k), 403(b), DB plans, and non-qualified plans. You will leverage your industry relationships to educate plan sponsors and fiduciaries while meeting fiduciary standards.

You will manage a robust pipeline, engage HR and CFO stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience. This role requires FINRA licensing and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 65 license required (or Series 7 and 66 or able to obtain 65 before start date).
• 5+ years of retirement plan sales or related financial services experience.
• Solid knowledge of ERISA, fiduciary standards, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by acquiring new retirement plan clients.
• Identify prospects via networking, referrals, and direct outreach to business owners, HR, CFOs.
• Consult with organizations to tailor retirement plan solutions aligned with fiduciary and business goals.
• Negotiate and close opportunities while meeting fiduciary/compliance standards.
• Maintain an active pipeline and track metrics using CRM systems.
• Educate clients on 401(k), 403(b), DB plans, non-qualified plans, and related options.
