Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking an Amendment Consultant to support clients and partners with thousands of retirement plan amendments annually. You will interpret procedures, coordinate with teams, and guide others in processing amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes ERISA/IRC/DOL knowledge and strong communication. You will work within a fast-paced environment with access to internal tools and Onsite work models as Fidelity transitions to more in-office roles.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of defined contribution retirement plan experience.
• Experience with Plan Central, XTRAC, Docusign, WPDT, Salesforce a plus.
• Specialist understanding of ERISA, IRC, and DOL regulations related to 401(k) plans.
• Strong digital literacy; MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of the 401(k) industry.
• Knowledge of Fidelity products, services, policies and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize workload based on timing needs, risk, and client expectations.
• Effective time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to articulate a point of view in a compelling and succinct manner.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and handle large volume of work.
• Ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide document and administrative support to clients and business partners with existing book of business.
• Interpret written procedures to make decisions and coordinate with others on policies and documentation.
• Assist and instruct others on decisions in processing amendments.
• Support Emerging/Mid/Advisor markets using the volume submitter document; coordinate with CRM to complete over 20,000 amendments a year.
• Generate solutions for standardized, lower complexity plan amendments.
• Maintain decision authority on amendment projects and sign on behalf of FMTC.
• Collaborate with the Amendment Consulting Team across departments to ensure updates align with plan provisions.
