Job summary

NBT Bank seeks a Pension Administrator to deliver client service for recordkeeping, administration and servicing of an assigned book of business, promoting revenue growth and exceptional client satisfaction.

The role requires an Associate degree with two years of experience or equivalent, with ASPPA or similar designations preferred. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with pension laws across plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with two years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Professional designations such as ASPPA, NIPA or CEBS preferred.
• Strong MS Word/Excel skills for reports and analysis.
• Ability to interpret pension plan provisions and regulations.
• Experience documenting client communications and plan activity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans are administered in compliance with pension laws and plan provisions.
• Monitor daily reports and provide project management support.
• Coordinate plan amendments with technical and support teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
