Job summary

AG Jeans is seeking a Senior Retention Marketing Manager to lead Email and SMS marketing within the Brand’s E-commerce Division. This role reports to the Head of E-commerce and owns the channel to drive growth, retention and ROI.

The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and strategic, with deep experience in CRM, Email, and SMS. Based in South Gate, CA, this full-time, in-person position requires leadership across data-driven campaigns, technology stacks, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in email and retention marketing, CRM and SMS.
• Proven track record growing Email, SMS and retention initiatives.
• Strong data-driven, analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Apparel industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the division’s Email and SMS marketing channel including strategy, implementation, execution, optimization, creative and analysis
• Manage the technology and partner stack for Email, Chat and SMS
• Forecast the Channel’s business and build a growth strategy to increase revenue, traffic, list size, customer retention and conversion
• Oversee the email production, send cadence, email/SMS/chat touchpoints, QA, testing and creation process
• Translate data into insights: build, monitor, track and report email and SMS marketing KPI's
• Own and develop the department’s email and SMS marketing content calendar
• Develop a CRM success strategy in areas of purchase frequency, acquisition, customer lifetime value and ROI
• Stay up to date with best practices, industry trends, compliance and new technology

AG Jeans is seeking an experienced Senior Retention Marketing Manager to join the Brand’s E-commerce Division. Reporting to the Head of E-commerce, this individual will have a tremendous impact and influence on the direction and growth of the Department.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, technical and strategic. The candidate will have the responsibility of independently shaping the division’s Email & SMS Marketing channel with full ownership to develop, implement and grow the Channel’s Email, SMS and Chat business.

This is a full time, in-person position at our corporate office in South Gate.

• Own and manage the division’s Email and SMS marketing channel including strategy, implementation, execution, optimization, creative and analysis

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in email marketing, retention marketing, CRM and SMS marketing
• Proven track record of growing Email, SMS and retention marketing initiatives
• Deep understanding of digital marketing psychology
• Strong skill set in Shopify, Klaviyo, and Attentive
• Strategic, analytical, strong attention to detail and lives and breathes data
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience in the Apparel industry is a plus
• Ability to work in a very collaborative environment
• Comfortable presenting performance results to peers and executive level team members
