Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair of refrigeration HVAC systems at Walmart facilities. You will work with commercial HVAC tools to complete jobs and respond to maintenance needs in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 10 years in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification for refrigerant handling, and a valid driver’s license. Requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policies.
