Job summary

Walmart in Harlingen, TX seeks a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair the store’s refrigeration and HVAC assets, ensuring smooth operations. The role requires extensive experience with large-scale rack refrigeration and EPA-certified refrigerant handling.

You will use a work order system, support store employees, respond to emergencies, inspect equipment, and perform tests while adhering to OSHA and EPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18 years or older with high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
