Job summary

EDENS is seeking a senior in-house attorney to serve as the primary regional legal partner for our portfolios, providing timely, practical support on complex retail real estate transactions including grocery and anchor leases.

You will lead a legal team, advise on deal economics, manage outside counsel, and align legal strategy with business priorities across Investment Management, Development, Leasing, and Property Management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required.
• 5–7 years of progressive legal experience with substantial retail leasing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary senior legal partner for regional portfolios.
• Lead complex retail real estate transactions including leases and related agreements.
• Advise business units on deal economics, credit, construction and delivery obligations, rent commencement, and lease enforcement.
