Job summary

Primestor Development, based in the San Diego area, seeks a Property Manager to oversee all daily property operations, including contract administration and vendor/tenant relations. The candidate should be highly ethical, innovative, and motivated, with the ability to negotiate contracts, manage staff, and guide scope development.

The role reports to the Director of Asset Service. A minimum of 10 years in retail property management and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Retail Property Manager/General Manager; redevelopment/construction experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial real estate operations and leasing.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, real estate, or finance.
• Ability to resolve tenant and staff issues with strong communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops the property team including third party providers.
• Ensures exceptional standards for property operations, safety, tenant experience, and asset presentation.
• Oversees property inspections, regulatory compliance, preventive maintenance, and capital projects.
• Responsible for accurate administration of commercial retail leases and operating documents.
• Directs and ensures timely rents, CAM receivables and tax billings and collections.
