Job summary

Revel IT seeks a seasoned Program Manager contractor to lead a portfolio of store experience projects in a large-scale retail digital environment. The role requires independence, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has extensive program management experience in retail technology, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, marketing and business development teams in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Retail experience.
• 7+ years of program management in Retail Technology, partnering with Product Managers, Engineering, Analysts, DataScience, HR, and Store Ops.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with data-driven storytelling for diverse audiences from team members to C-level executives.
• Strong leadership; able to influence without authority.
• Experience interfacing with external customers, partners and vendors to lead delivery.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban or SAFe for ongoing delivery.
• Experience with Jira and Aha! is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, architecture, and external stakeholders to define success criteria and business impact through data-driven insights.
• Prioritize work to deliver high-priority initiatives and align teams across functions.
• Plan thoroughly: budgets, milestones, deliverables, resources, dependencies, and risk mitigation while staying flexible to real-time changes.
• Provide budgeting forecasts and monitor actuals, addressing deviations from the plan.
• Lead cross-functional teams through scope, schedule, and cost changes with clear communication and collaboration.
• Develop and execute risk management plans with early risk identification and collaborative resolution.
