Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead retail design execution and serve as the central communication point for design and construction projects. Mastery of architectural design, Revit, and project management is required to manage multi-stakeholder workflows from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of professional design experience with progression into senior design management.
• 5+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• 5+ years managing complex design/construction projects in retail.
• Strong proficiency in architectural drawings and space planning.
• Knowledge of IBC/ADA requirements for code compliance.
• Experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet, and MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of MEP integration with architectural design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary design contact for the client, building trusted partnerships.
• Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Translate business needs into functional retail solutions including test fits.
• Set up Real Estate Site Approvals and present options to leadership and landlords.
• Oversee all phases of retail design, ensuring safety, function, and aesthetics.
• Coordinate with architectural consultants for submittal packages.
• Manage regional store development pipeline with Construction and Real Estate.
• Create and maintain Revit templates and design assets; adopt efficient tools.
