Publicis Groupe’s Mars United Commerce is seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Consultancy to lead Walmart-focused programs for a major CPG client. You’ll guide annual planning, manage projects, and ensure synergy with key accounts, while working hybrid from Cincinnati and mentoring a team of managers and account executives.

The role requires 7–9 years in retail marketing, strong leadership, and proven project management, with a focus on shopper marketing and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field.
• 7-9 years’ experience in retail marketing or experience with assigned retailer.
• Experience leading and developing others.
• Proven Project Management experience.
• Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing programs and management of day-to-day business.
• Ability to analyze past program results and current consumer insights and leverage learnings to drive sound, strategic plans.
• Sound decision making skills based in industry knowledge.
• Passion about business – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to dig in and do what’s needed to get the job done right.

Responsibilities

• Work with the internal cross-functional team to develop strategies, concepts and tactics.
• Manage the implementation of key client projects.
• Build strong working relationships with retailer client contacts.
• Manage execution of approved programs through team.
• Collaborate with external client vendors/agencies to execute projects.
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Communicate project status and budget to client teams.
• Mentor Retail Consultancy Managers and Account Executives.
