Job summary

Mars United℠ Commerce is seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Consultancy focused on Walmart for a large CPG client. You will support annual planning, manage major projects, and ensure program synergy with key clients. The role requires commuting distance to Cincinnati for hybrid work.

The position demands 7–9 years’ retail marketing experience, strong leadership, and proven project management abilities. Travel may be required as part of client initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field.
• 7-9 years’ experience in retail marketing or experience with assigned retailer.
• Experience leading and developing others.
• Proven Project Management experience.
• Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing programs and management of day-to-day business.
• Ability to analyze past program results and current consumer insights and leverage learnings to drive sound, strategic plans.
• Sound decision making skills based in industry knowledge.
• Passion about business and growth for assigned client/business.
• Strong listening, detail orientation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans, concepts, and tactics.
• Manage implementation of key client projects and budgets.
• Build relationships with retailer client contacts.
• Direct and mentor junior team members (Managers and Account Executives).
• Coordinate with external vendors/agencies to execute projects.
• Develop timelines and manage program budgets.
• Monitor post-promotion results using agency and client data.
• Ensure smooth planning and execution of retail extensions for brand/category programs.
