Job summary

Meta is hiring an experienced Construction Manager for its Retail Design & Build team to drive end-to-end construction of new retail stores, from design through openings. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and negotiate contracts to deliver high-quality retail experiences that align with Meta's brand and sales goals.

The role includes 50% travel to Meta Retail sites, collaboration with internal partners, and a focus on new-store efficiency and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in construction project management, including planning, budgeting, and delivery of construction projects.
• Multi-Project experience in large scale construction management, mission critical, infrastructure, and/or retail construction.
• General knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.
• Negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Retail Store.
• Manage the budget associated with the project.
• Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed.
• Coordinate needs and asks with the Procurement/Sourcing group(s) to support the needs of the Project.
• Support the pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects.
• 50% travel to Meta Retail sites.
• Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies.
