Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead end-to-end construction of new retail stores, from initial design to grand openings. You will drive project delivery, collaborate with internal partners and external vendors, and ensure builds meet Meta’s standards and timelines.

The role demands 12+ years in construction management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, strong budget, scheduling, and negotiations skills, plus willingness to travel to Meta Retail sites up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of experience in construction project management, including planning, budgeting, and delivery of construction projects
• Multi-Project experience in large scale construction management, mission critical, infrastructure, and/or retail construction
• General knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration
• Negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to problems

Responsabilités

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Retail Store
• Manage the project budget
• Manage cost change process and negotiate pricing
• Manage schedule and risk for turnover dates
• Coordinate warranty and tenant improvement work in live environment
• Communicate status and risks to leadership
• Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders
• Mitigate risk via pre-planning and smart planning
• Develop cost-saving solutions and identify underruns early
• Partner with General Contractor and vendors to build collaboration
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with Procurement/Sourcing to support project needs
• Support pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects
• Promote prefabrication strategies
• Support development of Capital Project Budgets and ROM estimates
• Support on-site inspections to ensure zero punch-list and expeditious turnover
