CHOPT is seeking a Sr. Assistant Manager to support the restaurant and General Manager in delivering excellent customer service and hospitality. You will train hourly staff, ensure food safety, and help with scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.

You will oversee operations in a fast-paced environment, foster inclusivity, and uphold CHOPT brand standards while driving performance and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have prior restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• ServSafe certification and any required city/state food safety certifications.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and employees and accurately exchange information.
• Skill in using a computer and/or tablet.
• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
• Capability to occasionally move or transport items up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the restaurant and General Manager by fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Prioritize exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Train and coach hourly staff to support talent development.
• Identify and develop trainers to grow the team.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure safe working conditions to reduce injury risk.
• Represent and protect the CHOPT brand.
• Ensure staff compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering.
