Mercy Health's Lourdes Hospital seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide comprehensive respiratory care. You will assess patients, plan and implement therapies, monitor responses, and educate patients and families. You may supervise staff, support procedures, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires at least two years of RCP experience, current licensure, NBRC credentialing, and BLS/ACLS. EPIC EHR experience is preferred and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to educate patients and families about therapies.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Assist with ventilator care, bronchoscopy support and invasive monitoring as needed.
• Perform CPR and airway management per ACLS protocol.
• Lead or precept new staff and students where assigned.
• Maintain equipment and document procedures in patient records.
