Job summary

St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced RCP-2 to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care for acute and chronic conditions.

Under physician supervision, you will set up and operate respiratory care equipment, including life-support ventilators, and perform cardiopulmonary tests as needed. Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential, GA license, and 2–3 years of respiratory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent required.
• RRT credential and GA license required; NBRC certification.
• 2–3 years respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews charts and assesses patients for respiratory care.
• Performs intubations and ensures airway patency.
• Maintains proper placement of tubes and lines.
• Delivers oxygen therapy and replaces humidifiers as needed.
• Responds to requests and assists with bronchoscopy and testing.
• Applies ventilator care and patient assessment per physician orders.
