University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, MD seeks friendly, patient-centered Respiratory Therapists to join our team part-time at a state-of-the-art regional medical center. The position blends a community hospital feel with trauma-center resources.

As part of the Respiratory Care Team, you will administer prescribed therapies, perform diagnostic evaluations, and support patients across cardiopulmonary services.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Legacy Approved Certificate Program required.
• 1 year of experience as an RRT required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Current Maryland license in good standing as a Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC CRT and Registration as an RRT within six months of employment.
• STABLE certification is required for staff who care for neonates.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain/renew by start date.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory care by physician prescription.
• Perform diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of physiologic data.
• Manage, educate, and rehabilitate patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Support treatment protocols across care sites including ventilation, airway care, and bronchoscopy-related activities.
