Qualifications

• Associate's Degree / Legacy Approved Certificate Program. Working toward an advanced respiratory related credential.
• One year of experience as an RRT.
• Current Maryland license in good standing as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registration by the NBRC as CRT and RRT within six months of employment.
• STABLE certification is required for staff who care for neonates.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapists administer respiratory care by prescription of the physician.
• Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation, management, education and rehabilitation of patients with cardio-pulmonary deficiencies.
