Job summary

Caribe Royale Orlando is seeking a Senior Event Manager to coordinate sales and client needs across pre-event, event, and post-event phases. You will ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and act as the primary contact for the event planner on property.

The role requires strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, plus knowledge of catering and diverse events. Manage budgets, space, and client relations to deliver exceptional events.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in event management at a resort property preferred.
• Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of catering and events market.
• Knowledge of diverse events i.e. weddings, corporate events, and reunions.
• Proven ability to handle complex group and social events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain close relationships with meeting and event planners, Sales, and operating departments.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Identify operational challenges and work with staff and client to solve them.
• Manage client budgets to maximize revenue and meet client needs.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups.
• Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in client site inspections and assist with the sales process when necessary.
• Act as a liaison between field salesperson and client throughout the event process.
• Review billing and payments with clients and coordinate with accounting.
