Dakota DesignStaff, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Project Manager | Residential to lead high-end residential projects from concept through completion.

Based in Boston, MA with remote options, the role emphasizes proactive, autonomous organization and delivering designs that meet client and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing single-family homes, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors, mentoring junior staff, and helping set office standards and QA

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in high-end residential or hospitality design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically for projects outside the New York area.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and technical detailing.
• Experience training and guiding junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-end residential projects, including single-family homes, across all phases.
• Oversee design process from conceptual phase through construction administration.
• Engage with high-profile clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop and improve office standards, workflows, and QA procedures.
• Maintain ownership for overall project success.
• Coordinate communication with other service lines, vendors, and contractors.
• Translate design ideas into detailed models and high-quality renderings.
• Mentor junior team members.
