Job summary

ShipRock Property Management is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to support residential properties with hands-on repair work and upkeep. This full-time role requires a practical skill set and a customer-focused approach.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance, conduct inspections, and address tenant requests with professionalism. 5+ years of experience preferred; safety and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot tenants' concerns.
• Execute a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, wall and trim repair, appliance maintenance, and general building maintenance.
• Conduct routine and preventative inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.
• Communicate escalated maintenance issues to management.
