Job summary

CIG Communities in Euclid, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for a full-time, on-site role. Salary is base $25–$30/hr plus commensurate with experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO and holiday pay.

You will support upkeep, safety, and aesthetics of a residential community, collaborating with a property management team to keep residents comfortable. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on residential or apartment maintenance experience.
EPA Certification a plus.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and proactive mindset.
Organized and detail oriented; track tasks and inventory.
Professional communication with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, prioritizing safety.
Document work in property management system for accountability.
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.
Complete make-ready tasks: painting, fixture replacement, deep cleaning, appliances.
Test systems to ensure proper function.
Address drywall, doors/windows, fences; general repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and grounds.
Assist in inventory management and shop organization.
Oversee vendors on-site and ensure safety compliance.
Attend team meetings and training sessions.
