KW Property Management seeks an experienced housekeeper supervisor for a residential property in Fort Lauderdale. The role involves maintaining clean common areas, reporting issues to supervision, and working as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

The position requires at least one year of supervisory housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products, and ability to operate standard cleaning equipment. Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in managing and supervising a housekeeping department.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and how to properly use them.
• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment within a residential building; vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, cleaning cart, etc.
• Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and other work areas to meet health standards.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Carry toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors with appropriate equipment.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork when needed.
• Report maintenance items to the Building Maintenance Department.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies with germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Observe safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Observe precautions to protect Residents and property and report damages.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for events.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
