Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting seeks an experienced housekeeper supervisor to lead housekeeping operations in a residential setting. The role focuses on cleaning common areas, ensuring health standards, and coordinating with the property team to support residents and guests.

The position requires at least one year of supervisory housekeeping experience, knowledge of sanitation products, and the ability to use cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in managing and supervising a housekeeping department.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and how to properly use them.
• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment within a residential building; vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, cleaning cart, etc.
• Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and common rooms to meet health standards.
• Clean rugs, carpets and upholstery using vacuums or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash to designated areas.
• Transport cleaning supplies with wheeled carts and maintain stocked storage areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors with appropriate equipment.
• Report maintenance items (burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment) to Building Maintenance.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for events.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
