Chesapeake Search Partners is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Install Supervisor to lead the residential installation team in the DMV area. This hands-on, field-focused role supervises installation crews, trains apprentices, and resolves technical and customer issues, driving quality workmanship and team performance.

The ideal candidate has strong field installation skills, mentoring ability, and knowledge of HVAC codes, with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

Residential HVAC installation experience with hands-on troubleshooting.
Experience mentoring apprentices and junior installers.
Thorough knowledge of residential HVAC systems and codes.
Strong customer service and face-to-face communication.
HVAC Journeyman/Master license preferred but not required.
No degree required; hands-on experience prioritized.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily residential HVAC installation activities and provide hands-on support.
Coach, train, and develop apprentices and junior technicians.
Visit job sites to ensure safety, codes, quality, and specs.
Troubleshoot start-up issues and assist with warranty callbacks.
Resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Monitor team performance, quality, productivity, and profitability.
Coordinate with management and scheduling teams to run daily operations.
Strengthen the installation team through ongoing training and leadership.
