Handa Developers Group in San Jose, CA is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager to lead residential development from concept to completion.

You will direct a team of supervisors and subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality across projects. This leadership role emphasizes collaboration with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, effective risk management, and the use of construction software to streamline reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of residential development and construction experience.
• Active CSLB Class B License preferred.
• Proven leadership across multiple large-scale projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and quality control knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and under-pressure performance.
• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Lead supervisors and subcontractors to ensure productivity.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure safety compliance, permitting, and inspections.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine designs.
• Monitor performance, implement improvements, manage risks.
• Oversee vendor and contract negotiation and performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams.
