AECOM Corporation seeks a Resident Engineer for the New York Metro area to manage construction contract administration and QA oversight on site. The role collaborates with the Construction Manager and contractor project teams to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence across wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with utilities, preparing monthly updates, and directing staff to optimize productivity while maintaining high ethical standards in daily

Competenze

• BA/BS in mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering with 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Must have NYS P.E. License.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course (30-hour preferable).
• Must have working knowledge of major wastewater construction infrastructure projects.
• Must have working knowledge of wastewater mechanical process equipment installation.

Mansioni

• Ensure Project Quality Plans interface with the Contract requirements.
• Oversee field operation to adhere to schedules and maintain the construction program.
• Direct field staff to minimize cost and maximize production.
• Review contractor progress and report delays or lost time to the CM.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and utilities.
• Ensure HASP safety procedures are followed.
• Direct inspectors and office engineers on project tasks.
• Prepare project correspondence for CM review.
