Job summary

HNTB in South Portland, ME seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to provide program-level leadership for a seven-year major I-95 corridor project in the Greater Portland area. The role involves field management, contractual compliance, technical leadership, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to deliver a landmark transportation program on time and within budget.

You will supervise project staff, develop the project management plan, review designs, and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10 years construction related experience.
• All jurisdictional certificates.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations; assist in proposals and contracts.
• Oversee field staff and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review plans, specs, and construction procedures for constructability.
• Lead project delivery plan and mentor project team.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
