Job summary

HNTB Corporation in South Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to provide program-level leadership for a multi-phase I-95 corridor project. You will oversee field management, ensure contract compliance, and coordinate with clients and project teams through seven years of delivery and completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a relevant field is required.
• 14 years of relevant experience is acceptable in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project scope and fee quotation and assist in technical proposals and contracts per SDA.
• Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, and staff to jobs.
• Monitor contractor progress and compare with the progress schedule.
• Resolve field issues and coordinate with Architects and Engineers for timely responses.
• Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Lead the development and execution of the project management plan and SDA delivery.
• Lead proposal development and client presentations for mega projects.
