The Civil Engineer will work for our client, a leading civil engineering firm, established in 1999 and recently voted as one of the Top 25 Engineering firms by NJ Biz. This firm has steadily grown based on a solid reputation for providing quality service. The diverse staff includes a team of respected engineers and inspectors throughout New Jersey and New York. Efforts include some of the largest transportation projects in the New York Metropolitan area such as the Raising of the Bayonne Bridge, Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing, NJ Turnpike Widening, and Fulton Street Transit Center.

Description:

Resident Engineer with experience on projects with the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. Must be a PE in NJ OR have a NICET IV and at least 12 years’ experience in the highway and bridge construction inspection field, plus a minimum of 4 of those years as a Resident Engineer on projects for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. Must live in the tristate area. Company provides all training for necessary certifications.

• 4+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer on NJ Turnpike projects. A MUST!
• MUST be a licensed PE in NJ or have a NICET IV certification.
• Additional experience inspecting concrete and asphalt.
• Traffic control certification a plus!
