Job summary

TYLin's Construction Management team seeks a Senior Resident Engineer (Structures) to lead field inspections, manage bridge and other transportation structures, and ensure work aligns with plans and specs.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager and lead staff, delivering rigorous cost estimates, progress reports, and timely issue resolution. A PE or CCM and 15+ years of bridge construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely-related field.
• P.E. license or CCM credential required.
• 15+ years of bridge construction experience.
• Experience as Structures Representative on at least two bridge projects with a minimum construction value of $20 million.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structures construction work ensuring plans and specs are followed.
• Inspect falsework elements and ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for project activities.
• Provide written progress reports and coordinate with contractors.
• Lead field inspection and support staff; mentor others.
