Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Lead Bridge Engineer/Sr. Project Manager for the Greater Philadelphia Region. This role requires top performance in project management and leadership of business development efforts within the region.

The candidate will manage bridge design projects, perform technical analysis, and supervise staff while collaborating with PennDOT, PA counties and other agencies. This position offers on-site work in the Greater Philadelphia area with TYLin’s Americas Bridge Sector.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with emphasis in bridge design.
• PA P.E. license is required.
• 15+ years of project management and bridge design experience; local PA clients preferred.
• Experience in pursuit management and delivery of bridge projects.
• Strong oral and written communication; client-focused and ethical.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management with client interface and scope/schedule/budgets for bridge projects.
• Develop project work plans, schedules and budgets.
• Establish contract budgets and scopes of work.
• Responsible for successful completion of projects.
• Perform engineering design, analysis and calculations at the Senior Engineer level.
• Oversee construction documents development with drawings, specs and cost estimates.
• Mentor, supervise and develop staff; assist in planning and forecasting.
• Lead regional business development and client relationships.
