Job summary

EQV Group is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer in Dallas, TX to perform technical evaluations supporting investment decisions and portfolio oversight. The role emphasizes identifying technical risk, translating reservoir data into clear conclusions, and collaborating with deal teams and consultants.

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will generate forecasts, validate operating assumptions, and contribute to pre- and post-close analyses, working with both conventional and unconventional assets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in the U.S. Lower 48.
• Experience with DCA, RTA/PTA, volumetrics, and fluid behavior.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and validate forecasts and valuations using offset well data, geologic maps, and asset history.
• Apply reservoir engineering methodologies including DCA, RTA/PTA, volumetrics, and fluid behavior.
• Integrate with Deal Teams to support acquisition and investment decisions.
• Communicate technical conclusions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
