Job summary

Matador Resources Company seeks an experienced Reservoir Engineer in Dallas, TX to perform integrated reservoir studies, reserve and economic analyses for exploration, development and acquisitions. The role offers opportunity to contribute to growth in an independent E&P company.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Petroleum Engineering and 2+ years in unconventional reservoirs, with familiarity with SEC reserves and strong analytical, presentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience with unconventional reservoirs (Permian, Eagle Ford, Haynesville/Cotton Valley).
• PE license or in process a plus.
• Ability to predict reserves/production and perform economic evaluation.
• Background in reservoir fluid flow and reservoir modeling.
• Experience with production nodal and pressure transient analysis.
• Experience with well completions and hydraulic fracturing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform integrated reservoir studies and reserve analyses.
• Conduct economic analyses for exploration, development, and acquisitions.
• Evaluate projects and optimize development plans.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess opportunities.
