Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior Resource Development Engineer to optimize resource development across Delaware Basin assets.

You will conduct performance analysis, strategic planning, A&D evaluation, and reservoir characterization to maximize value and recovery. Responsibilities include forecast generation via decline curves, design of development plans, and collaboration with geologists and production engineers to advance reserves strategy and asset optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering field
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience
• Pre-employment background and drug test

Responsibilities

• Conducts decline curve analysis to generate production forecasts for budgeting and strategic decisions.
• Designs and optimizes well spacing, completions strategies, and field development plans to maximize economics.
• Evaluates potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Develops and maintains type curves and economic analyses for AOIs.
• Progresses well approvals from concept to executive approval.
• Collaborates with Reservoir Solutions to incorporate simulations and diagnostics into asset characterization.
