Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of recent, relevant industry experience.
  • Skilled in relevant industry software.

Responsibilities

  • Use numerical simulation, rate and pressure transient analysis to provide reservoir insights and develop strategy.
  • Design, implement and analyze reservoir surveillance programs.
  • Perform computer simulations of oil and gas reservoirs to aid in reservoir management with analytical, black oil and compositional models.
  • Analyze production performance from unconventional reservoirs to guide well completion, workover and development decisions.
  • Provide direction on data collection and laboratory testing to meet reservoir characterization needs.
  • Lead teams to identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities for resource development.
  • Represent Continental Resources in joint meetings and with stakeholders.
  • Communicate recommendations clearly and garner support for projects.
  • Develop workflows and processes for duties required.
  • Mentor and instruct technical staff as appropriate.
