Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Research Statistician to provide statistical support across the R&D organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance medicines to patients. You will design, analyze, and report on clinical trials and research studies, and help develop protocols and analysis plans.

The role emphasizes statistical rigor, collaboration, and the creation of reproducible statistical modules and templates, with opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled scientific computing

Qualifications

MS (with 4+ years of experience) or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a highly related field.
Experience with SAS and R

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials or other scientific research studies.
Assist with development of protocols and/or statistical analysis plans
Work under supervision to develop strategy for data presentation and inference, implement sound statistical methodology in scientific investigations, and perform statistical analyses as per the analysis plan.
Collaborate with Data Science in preparing for database lock.
Collaborate in publication of scientific research, and ensure accuracy and internal consistency of the statistical component of scientific reports and/or publications with high quality.
