Qualifications

• MS (with 8+ years of experience) or PhD (with 4+ years of experience) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Machine learning and AI or a highly related field.
• Strong skills in conducting complex statistical analyses and modeling, including multiple testing, Bayesian analysis, mixed model analysis, survival endpoint analysis.
• Strong skills in conducting machine learning, deep learning and AI predictive modeling, including data-processing, model training, model tuning, and deployment
• Production-level code for end-to-end pipelines in Python and R; familiar with VS Code, Claude Code, GitHub.
• Working experiences on ConcertAI, FlatIron, Optum databases; data processing and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct statistical research and methodology development for trials, patient safety, and global medical affairs.
• Lead design, analysis and reporting for clinical or scientific programs; develop analysis plans and protocols.
• Provide programming specs for derived variables and analysis datasets; ensure data accuracy for analyses.
• Collaborate with Statistical Programming to deliver high-quality outputs on time; plan around study design issues.
• Support safety statistics initiatives and cross-functional collaboration for data interpretation and publication.
