Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of relevant experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with either a government agency or contractor organization.
• Knowledge of DoDM 5200.01 Vol 1-3, DoD 5205.07, ICD 704/705, SEADs, JSIG, and NISPOM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect sensitive research data and facilities from unauthorized access and threats.
• Collaborate with IT and research teams to integrate security protocols into processes and technologies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor security incidents and coordinate response efforts to mitigate risks.
• Provide training and awareness programs on security best practices.
