Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) ACL seeks an experienced Research Engagement Manager to bridge advanced research and sponsor engagement. You will align ACL initiatives with Georgia Tech academic units and external partners to translate ideas into applied solutions.

Based in Atlanta with potential off-site locations, the role emphasizes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and management of education and internship programs, while supporting national security research priorities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster collaborative research between GTRI and Georgia Tech academic units and institutes; Minority Serving Institutes; industry and government agencies.
• Develop, implement and manage a Technical Communications plan for the GTRI to promote technical excellence and disseminate advanced research and technology within GTRI.
• Foster technical excellence within GTRI by developing, promoting, supporting and managing technical communities of interest across GTRI.
• Develop, implement and manage student research programs such as graduate fellowships and internships.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education
