Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Senior Research Program Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of research, implementation, education, quality improvement, and strategic initiatives in patient care and medication safety.

The role involves coordinating grant applications, managing budgets, and leading multidisciplinary teams toward measurable outcomes, while ensuring scalable program operations and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health sciences, business administration, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or a related field is required or preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience managing complex research programs, grants, healthcare initiatives, implementation programs, or comparable multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders is required.
• Experience developing and managing grant proposal budgets, preferably including federal grants and multi‑partner proposals.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a complex portfolio of concurrent research, implementation, quality improvement, education, partnership, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and accountability structures.
• Coordinate grant applications from planning through submission and maintain a funding calendar.
• Develop detailed proposal budgets and monitor expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate implementation of programs to improve patient outcomes, medication safety, and pharmacist integration into care teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary meetings and coordinate stakeholders across academic, clinical, governmental, and industry settings.
• Track participation, timelines, and milestones; prepare quarterly and annual progress reports and dashboards.
• Support dissemination, manuscripts, abstracts, and public-facing communications.
