Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Specialist, Research Manager to join the Value & Implementation organization in the United States. You will coordinate observational and non-interventional studies, partnering with RDAI, Outcomes Research, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure study execution and lifecycle compliance.

Under supervision of an Associate Director, you will manage protocols, publications, and data management tasks, track milestones, and support cross-functional collaboration across

Qualifications

• Three or more years of work experience within clinical/observational research or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders in medical or scientific teams.
• Basic knowledge of epidemiologic, outcomes research, or health economic modeling.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills; resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of observational or non-interventional research activities.
• Provides operational support for research conduct in compliance with GPP, SOPs, and company policies.
• Manages multiple complex activities and study types.
• Tracks timelines and deliverables; follows up on action items.
• Maintains study information in applicable systems and manages budget and invoicing.
