Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks a Senior Specialist, Research Manager to coordinate observational and non-interventional studies within Value & Implementation. You will partner with RDAI, Outcomes Research and stakeholders to ensure study execution, protocol delivery and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will manage timelines, budgets, documentation, and publication processes, while mentoring other managers and supporting process improvements in a global clinical research setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or public health (or closely related discipline).
• Master's degree and PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Therapeutic area background in oncology, vaccines, infectious disease, immunology, diabetes or cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of observational or non-interventional research activities.
• Provide operational support for research conduct in compliance with GPP, SOPs.
• Support execution and closeout of data collection, chart review, and database studies.
• Manage timelines, deliverables and budgets; track action items.
• Assist with protocol and interim/final report preparation and publication submissions.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and mentor other researchers.
