Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) is seeking a Research Engineer IV in Bryan, TX to lead advanced HVAC testing and lab operations. You will manage day-to-day technical work, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 while coordinating with sponsors and stakeholders.

You will design test programs, mentor junior engineers, and help advance energy systems research through rigorous data analysis and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six years of related experience.
• Direct experience with ANSI/AMCA 210 and/or ASHRAE 51 fan and airflow performance test standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages day-to-day technical operations of the Indoor Environments Lab in coordination with leadership.
• Serves as the lab's primary technical engineer for fan/HVAC performance testing.
• Owns and maintains the lab's ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System.
