Design and optimization of mouse immunization protocols, including adjuvant selection and in vivo immunization procedures, to generate robust immune responses against complex targets.
  • Conduct routine immunization procedures in small rodents with high efficiency: Prepare antigens and adjuvants; conduct animal handling and various injection routes (SC, ID, IM, IP, IV); monitor animal health and immune responses in accordance with established protocols and ethical guidelines; collect blood samples via multiple routes; harvest lymphoid tissues (spleen, lymph nodes, and other lymphoid organs); and isolate immune cells using sterile and aseptic techniques. Coordinate shipment of biological samples to internal company sites when required.
  • Mouse colony management: Work with the team members and vivarium staff to maintain and expand the company's mouse colonies, including breeding strategy design, colony management, genotyping, and data tracking and documentation.
  • Laboratory maintenance: Maintain accurate experimental records and ensure data integrity. Manage laboratory inventory, equipment, and daily operations. Ensure all procedures comply with SOPs and institutional safety and animal care regulations.
Qualifications
  • M.S. or B.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biology, or a related discipline, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical R&D environment.
  • Strong proficiency in rodent handling and in vivo techniques, particularly blood and tissue collection and multiple injection routes. Hands‑on experience in transgenic mouse colony management, breeding, and genotyping.
  • Hands‑on experience with cell culture and primary cell isolation from rodent tissues.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with a strong ability to generate accurate, reliable, and reproducible experimental results.
