Responsibilities

• Perform mouse immunizations, sera titer assessment, and tissue collection.

AlivaMab Biologics is seeking an outstanding individual to join the Antibody Discovery Team. The successful candidate will serve as the Research Associate, supporting antibody discovery and screening workflows, enabling identification of antibody hits with therapeutic potential from the AlivaMab® Mouse platform, and contributing to broader technology development and companywide initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional scientific teams, working closely with scientists in Antibody Discovery, Antibody Engineering, and Protein Sciences teams. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and able to multitask in an exciting, fast-paced environment, working to discover the next generation of breakthrough antibody drugs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in immunology, cell biology, or related discipline with 0-3 years of relevant industrial or academic experience.
• Small-animal work, including immunization, blood collection, and tissue harvest performed in accordance with IACUC guidelines, is an integral part of this role. Prior hands-on experience with these procedures is an advantage.
• Aseptic mammalian tissue culture experience is required. Demonstrated expertise in culturing cancer cell lines and hybridomas is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team, on challenging drug discovery projects that use high-throughput cell culture and antibody screening techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GraphPad Prism. Experience with Benchling ELN/LIMS is a plus.
• The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop new skills and techniques in antibody drug discovery.
• Experience with stable cell line generation, cell sorting, and/or experimental design of cell-based assays is desired.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Motivated self-starter with excellent organization, teamwork, and a passion for scientific innovation
• Local candidate preferred. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Salary Range: $67,500 - $82,500 annually

This range represents AlivaMab Biologics' good-faith estimate of the base compensation for this position at the time of posting. Offered compensation will account for factors such as experience, education, and comprehensiveness of qualifications. The salary range excludes bonuses, equity, health benefits, PTO, other benefits, or any other forms of compensation that may be part of the total compensation package.
