Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC represents a leading global biotechnology company in Boston seeking a Senior Research Associate to join the Analytical Development team on a 6-month, fully onsite contract. The role focuses on assay development for cell therapy and biologics, with hands-on work in a GMP-like lab, data analysis, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on lab experience as a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate (0-2 years with a Master's degree).
• Experience with cell culture and aseptic technique.
• Experience with one or more analytical techniques: flow cytometry, cell migration assays, Mito Stress Test.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and work in a GMP-like laboratory environment.
• Emerging ability to modify experimental designs and protocols to drive methodological improvement.
• Independent reasoning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; works effectively on multidisciplinary, matrixed teams.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong time and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments to support analytical method development for cell therapy and other biologics products.
• Perform sample testing and data analysis following established methods and procedures with minimal supervision and rapid turnaround.
• Maintain excellent documentation of experiments and studies.
• Author and review SOPs, protocols, and reports as needed.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and trend assay performance in partnership with your manager.
• Report on project progress and present data at internal team meetings.
• Perform laboratory support duties to keep the lab running efficiently.
