Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Research Associate III in the United States to join a collaborative R&D team focused on verification and validation of diagnostic assays. You will own complex projects, contribute to design control, and serve as a technical resource across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.

The role requires 5+ years in a research lab, experience in immunology, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a research lab or equivalent.
• Experience with immunology and basic laboratory techniques.

Responsibilities

• Train junior team members in routine lab tasks.
• Execute established protocols for sample results using multiple technologies.
• Perform conjugation/coupling and calculations for dilutions and concentrations.
• Participate in external studies under supervision.
• Maintain lab records and generate data slides.
