Job summary

Intellectt.Inc in Boston is seeking a Senior Research Associate to lead single-cell RNA sequencing workflows, from tissue preparation to library construction and QC.

You will run 10x Genomics Chromium experiments, perform QC with Bioanalyzer, Qubit, and flow cytometer, and collaborate with scientists and bioinformaticians on experimental design and troubleshooting.

This 12-month role offers extension opportunities and a pay rate of $40.00-$45.00/hr on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Molecular Biology or related field with 5+ years of experience, or M.S. with 2+ years.
• Hands-on experience with NGS library prep and 10x Genomics Chromium workflows.
• Expertise in RNA handling, molecular biology, and primary cell/tissue preparation.

Responsibilities

• Execute scRNA-seq experiments using 10x Genomics Chromium and related platforms.
• Perform cell/tissue dissociation, viability assessments, single-cell partitioning, barcoding, cDNA generation, and library prep.
• Prepare libraries for gene expression and multiomics (CITE-seq, scATAC-seq, spatial transcriptomics).
• Conduct QC using Bioanalyzer, TapeStation, Fragment Analyzer, Qubit, qPCR, and flow cytometry.
• Partner with scientists and bioinformaticians on experimental design, troubleshooting, and protocol optimization.
• Document workflows in ELN/LIMS and support daily lab readiness.

• Multiomic assays (scATAC-seq, CITE-seq, spatial transcriptomics, cell hashing).
• Familiarity with lab automation and basic downstream single-cell data QC metrics.
